I was told the video went wonky...it had a million "lines" on the LCD screens.
So I went down there, powered down, pulled out the MPU, looked under the hard drive and could see the video card was toast.
The cooling fins on the heatsink were literally brown, instead of black.
The culprit was a broken heatsink plastic pin ( They use 2 of them) which wasn't holding the heatsink to the top of the video processor chip anymore.
It wasn't cooling off.
The video card was cooking.
That's what happens I guess, when the pins SHOULD have been made out of steel, instead of plastic. :fryingpan:
Into the trash can it goes.
