Title: SG362 Chip Replacement
Post by: rnicorvo on August 25, 2023, 07:20:44 AM
I want to replace the current SG000362 chips with SG000363. Do the new 363 chips have to be the same jurisdiction as the old 362s? The machine I'm working on has CAI for the SG and version chips. The machine is for home use. Pic attached.

Thank you,

Rich

SG363 pairs will work for your machine at home, no problem.
Contact member RB for chips.  :cool_thumb_up:

Now...I have a question for you...what in the world is "CAI"?  :scratch-head_3: :scratch-head_2:

CAI stands for California Native American jurisdiction.

Okay, great. I wasn't sure if all the chips had to match jurisdiction especially since the version chip was the same jurisdiction as the stepper chips. Thanks for the help!
