Welcome to NLG Jimpics82!  Don't worry about that battery going dead faster if you shut your machine off.  They last for years! Replacement batteries are easy to find when you finally do need one.  You will need a soldering iron to replace them though.
I have had my S plus machines for years and they are off most of the time.  No problems with dead batteries.  No harm in keeping them on all the time if that's what you want and if you don't mind paying a little extra for electricity.  These machines are designed to be on 24/7.
Have fun!

Joe

I agree with Joe, the only thing the battery does is hold credits in memory. If for some reason the casino lost power while you were playing the credits would still be there when the power came back on. A lot of people cash out before turning off. We can advise you of a setting so that you don't have to make the hopper spit out the coins. Instead a turn of the key will take care of it.
