Title: AVP screen switch
Post by: Techguy on January 29, 2024, 08:28:06 AM
Hey,

Got an AVP trimline with 3.0 cpu

The screens switched themselves with the bottom on top and vie versa

Any reason and solution for this problem?

I restarted the machine without power to the top monitor and stiil same problem but when  I restarted without the signal connected the bottom screen came on as it supposed to. All connections are correct with both monitors connected to the cpu as its supposed to

I'd swap cables at the GPU only just for the heck of it.  If that doesn't work, I have no clue.

Isn't one VGA, and the other DVI-I...or are both the same type of connector?

GPU card is dual DVI.  I also think they were swapped somehow.

:agreepost: If that's the case, then I'd just power down and swap the connecters on the brainbox.  :cool_thumb_up:
