Title: Need Manual for Jungle Wild and Jackpot Party
Post by: cloudlady911 on January 30, 2024, 11:48:16 AM

I have the Jackpot Party and Jungle Wild slot machines.  Both are showing the NVRAM is corrupted error.  I was wondering if anyone has the manual for these.  I have years of experience with computer troubleshooting but I am new to slot machines and I don't want to do anything stupid.  :rotfl:

The 1st thing you'd want to do is help us help you.
What model Bluebird machine do you have?
A BB1 or a BB2?
Can you post a photo?
 :Take_a_Photo:

Also, were the machines recently in full working order?
What did you do to get that message and where did you see it?

I don't know what the model number number is, did not even know that they are BlueBird.  How would I find out this information?

I am attaching the pictures I took.

Your photos are kind of small, but they might work.
Top one is a Williams Bluebird...
We call them around here "WMS BB1".
The bottom one with the dual monitors is called a WMS BB2.
I'm trying to enlarge your photos but they're getting pixelated the larger I zoom in.
Can you attach a larger sized photos...up to 1000kb per photo.
Need to see what it says just above the lines of asterisks where it basically says "Halted"

From there folks here will be able to tell you what's the next best thing to do.

NVRAM is corrup means you need to replace the batteries inside the MPU.  You will need a clear card in order to set them back up.  You can find many youtube videos on how to do that. A clear 1810 should work on both machine types.

Any idea where I can get an 1810 clear card?
And how do I know what kind of batteries it needs?

Member RB on here should be able to help you out with the clear card you need. Batteries you will need are 2032. I use Panasonic cr-2032

Actually on the BB1 machine, it depends on the mpu type he has.  But you should be able to clearly tell the batteries, just pull them out of the mpu (the rectangular box where the game cards are plugged in).

Also, what if I want to preserve the information I have and don't want to reset it?  Can I do that?

They are easy to set up after the clear process, I found this video very helpful my first time.

If you want, stick in some new batteries, turn on the machine, and see if you get your Bluebird back on with the old settings and accounting?
I doubt it will work, but you have nothing to lose...because it may already be lost.

Yes it is possible the machine may hold the settings after a battery change. Most of the ones I have will. Now Bally Alphas are a different story.

Once you get an NVRAM error, the information is gone.  That is why the system can't mount the NVRAM, because it has data that is already corrupt.
