Title: NXT 3.2
Post by: WMS Fanatic on March 18, 2024, 03:28:01 PM
Doesn’t the 3.2 have a built in ram clear feature?   I have the CPU door open and powering on and I remember on my old machine when booting it gave the option to ram clear by pressing the diag button during boot.

I found the manual for the 3.2 and it’s listed for ram clear.  Says can be done 3 ways.  Boot up sequence, in the diagnostic menu of the game and a clear card.    My clear card hasn’t shown up yet.

That reference is to the original OS H17.00 series when the NXT 3.2 first came out.  It is no longer a feature in the H18.00 and H19.00 series OS, so a clear card must be used to clear the machine now, unless you are playing an older game that uses OS H17.00, such as Aladdin.
