Sorry - not an expert with slot machines but if i want to play my BB3 games in one of my BB2 machines do i just need to update the CPU (found this on ebay)

Is this all I need?

Not All BB3 games will work in a BB2 with a BB3 CPU board. I believe the size of the monitor becomes an issue at some point.
-
If you have a BB2e (with the emotive lighting) you should be good to go. If you dont have the emot lighting you can use jumpers or just get lightning kit for the cab. Best upgrade ive done! Even works with BB2 games that run on OS 13
-
Does anyone have step by step instructions to upgrade a bb2e to bb3
-
You need the bb3 power cable and a cpunxt 3.x mpu. That's really all you need to replace to get it going, since you already have a bb2e which has the emotive controller.
-
Are the bb3 games that big of a difference and would i be able to play my bb2 games with the bb3 cpu
-
You cannot play bb2 games on a bb3 mpu. People do the upgrade to play the newer games. I wouldn't say they are better than the bb2 games, just different. People's gaming preferences have changed over years, and the newer themes reflect that. If you like lower volatility, bb2 games are better. If you likie high volatility bb3 games are better.

I have a nx3.2 cpu now for my bb2e. Can anyone tell me how to connect the wiring harness
-
Do you have the power harness needed to use the BB# CPU?
-
How dumb. Didn't see the power port on the side of the cpu

i ordered 2. ill see if they make Illinois multiage fit the screen. fingers crossed
-
They do work, But I found the Illinois game chest games to be stripped down versions of the originals. I wasn't impressed with it.

All game chest versions of games are stripped down versions of full versions. They do it to shrink games down to fit more on. Ill gc is also a lottery tho so it also has denomination limitations.

what kind of lighting kit would I exactly need?

You only need to buy the emotive controller. You do not need to get the actual led top and bottom assemblies. The jumper solution is the easiest and least expensive.

So if I didn't resort to jumping the emotive controller on the backplane I could buy the controller and have that plugged in? Or will the game still tilt if there aren't any LEDs plugged in
