Title: Gamemaker 7000
Post by: kurte on June 11, 2024, 07:53:24 PM
Hello. I am looking for help. I am working on a friend's Gamemaker v7000 Blazing 7's and I can't figure out how to get rid of the errors. I have attached pictures. If I go into the I/O test the door open is on and the interlock switch seems to do nothing. My friend bought it from someone that sold it this way. I work on arcade games for a living but not poker machines. I need to know what wires go to the interlock switch and what color wire to what terminal. The game does not have a bill validator so the switch that is tied to the side door is for removing cash has the actuator arm bent to keep the switch on. So, when in test I can move the arm and see the switch go on and off. As far as I know I can only find the interlock switch for the door. The switch for the side door. I don't believe it has a door optic. I don't see any switch that's tied to the logic board. And what is the DROP open for? I am guessing the door switch is the main problem. A wiring diagram would help. Info on where any switches would be a great help. Any help would be great.

Welcome to NLG!
Was hoping another more knowledgable member would have replied by now, but we are lacking in people who know or own Game Makers.
I'll try and PM some members that may have help for you.
I do know that we have a manual with schematics in our NLG File System. You have to be a contributing member, but it's only $10 monthly and you're welcome to join for just a month, or however long you want.  :propeller:

Maybe it's setup in the menu as a slant top machine? It should be set for upright configuration. Slant top settings , I believe have those door open messages.

I too was hoping someone who knows these with confidence was going to jump in. I can help a bit since I have one and have worked through most of these anomalies at one time or another.
Was the backup battery recently changed?  The reason I ask is because you often get these error indicators when you have changed the battery and done setup but you didn't do the last step of setup.
It's on the last configuration tab and I think it's called Terminal ID you have to put 1111111111 in there.

Also, these are very sensitive to the cash box being properly (firmly) seated and the  cash door must be properly closed (they have a habit of popping open just enough for it to trigger an error).

Any chance you can post a screenshot of the entire screen? If you have a problem with lines in the picture, I find taking a short video then doing a screen capture is a quick and easy way.

I have attached three photos. I could not get a full shot of the screen due to the photo size being so large even after trying to crop the size. I also attached a photo of the diagnostic screen. And a photo of the terminal ID. Does that VGD already enrolled have something to do with the problems? I checked the battery. It was good. I did a SafeRAM clear and set the cabinet to upright. I can do another SafeRAM clear if it needs to be set up a specific way. I can get more photos if needed. Let me know.
