Cant payout as pressure from slides is holding fingers from releasing. As I have read, click 4 should be fingers going into reel holes then click 5 release of slides? Mine is clicking #5 then #4..? But I cant see what I am missing to correct this. Thanks in advance

Is the slide bundle overtightened? Can you post a couple photos showing the slides and fingers? I'll PM the other member here who will know... more than me!
You may want to try
coinopcollectorforum.com
They deal solely with mechanical machines.

grssslotrepair,
First of all, what model machine is this? Are you able to see the 5th. click arm when you play/cycle the machine? If so, when you play the machine, you should see the payout slides being pushed forward and the 5th. click arm will move over and hold the payout slides forward briefly. At the end of the cycle the 5th. click arm will move out of the way allowing the slides to "reset". That sound of the slides resetting is the 5th. click sound.
You are correct that the payout fingers hitting the payout discs is the 4th. click. Slide reset is the 5th. click. I believe that your 5th. click arm may be gummed up/sticking causing the payout slides to reset too early.
Also, as shortrackskater stated. the coincollectorforum.com is a good source for the older machines. Just google "5th. Click" and you will see a few postings regarding similar issues as yours.

Thanks for info. It seems slides are working properly. To me it looks like the arm that the clock pushes back is not going back far enough and early enough to beat the slide release. Therefore I am getting 5 clicks but 4 before 5. Slides have been removed and checked. Everything clean and greased or oiled properly. I do not see any adjustments for this. It looks like the roller is just not going up far enough on the clock to release arm quicker. Maybe someone put the wrong clock in it?

solved. I did not like the solution but these things are old. I read on the other site you gave me to bend that roller arm a little and bingo. Thanks for help!

Good to hear.
Can you post a photo of your machine just so we can see it?
