Title: What lights do I want for SIGMA SG 150 Treasure Wheel for the Wheel Part itself
Post by: Tmmybahama on December 30, 2014, 01:43:31 AM
I have lights out in the "pies" of the wheel and then the lights around the edge... Which Vendor has some for sale?  and how much? ???  Probably need a bunch to fix all the rest of my machines and push em out the door... So I can go out and find another 50-100 NEW ONES to work on... Gonna "update" what I sell.. Started with SG 150s, Wms Dots, and IGT S+ machines... Gonna get S2000s, BB1s n 2s (if I can afford), video poker, etc etc.... 2 years ago, I didnt know a thing about any of this... Now, with 60+ machines sold under my belt, and (knock on wood), NOT ONE CLIENT has called with problems yet... SOme going back 18+ months since I sold a machine.... Feels good... ANd many have comeback to get another one, or got friends of theirs sent my way... I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE some guidance on where or who to deal with on these SIGMA LIGHTS... Thank you...

I think they are just 14 volt wedge bulbs. Check MCM Electronics or Mouser Electronics

Sweet, Ill get a hold of him... and Therockinelvis:  thank you for the tips on where to get lighting... looks like for every machine on the planet they will have the light I am looking for!!!

Bud,

I assume you received your Dot Matrix coin tray with speaker, AND the attached 5.00 chip... Did you pop in the new chip???  How she work???

What is the status on your # of machines remaining... Call me, I have another STEAL, "I mean deal" for ya, on remaining machines....

Sounds like you have mastered the mysteries of the SIGMA, that most people seem to cower from... (I thought they were simple to fix compared to some of Bally's old school ones)... Of course, nothing is too difficult, once you are a member on here, right????

Were all the lights working on the Sigma's I gave you??? I know I worked on 3 or 4 of those 5 you received, I THINK, and probably 3 of those were 100% finished....  On the treasure tunnel, did you get the machine I finished????  Or do I own that one???  Plus, I have one that is currently a dollar Treasure Tunnel in the most beautiful BLUE CORAL like outside plastic instead of the black...

Give me a call, and let me know... Thanks...

I got the speaker and the chip, both working great!
I can see about calling ya soon, but I think some of my toy buying is gonna slow a bit,,, We just found out we're pregnant :)
I'm super excited and just a little terrified ;)

I would still be interested if I happen to buy a car down in Las Vegas or Phoenix, no real prospects right now but I'll let ya know if I get something.

Talk to ya soon Brad!

CONGRATS!!!! You have children already, correct?  Or is this your first???  Kara and I want to have babies, but always have other things going on to goto doctor and get checked out, make sure our parts are all working, and if not, why; and then getting on the "TIMING" of it all, so we arent going at it 5x a day 30 days a month... At 44, Id die, no matter how much I enjoy it!  But I do believe we need to do it now, or in the next year or two, or I think we will have to adopt we don't conceive normally... We havent really tried, the timing and all that, because we always just assumed it would happen if it was supposed to... Maybe it isnt.... Who knows... But I am very happy for you two!  CONGRATS!!!!  Keep me posted on when you are heading to the next auction in VEGAS....  And you fly on that AIRLINE you told me about... So cheap... But so is the service, right???? (What kind of airline leaves garbage from the flight before on there for the next flight to save money?  This airline Bud flies!!!  But it doesnt lower fare prices)  You just hope that the airline is reusing junked engines or bent "frames" aka fuselages.....   :drool04:

All honesty there service is beyond bad,,, but it's cheap and gets ya where you wanna be,,, most times :)

Oh and this is the first kiddo, so pretty stoked about being a daddy!

I have 7 of these bullseye type and I can tell you that replacing this type bulb is hard. The pie type of bulb I posted about is the type you twist in and there is 2 bulbs per pie wedge.

Ben,
I do not know how many bulbs you need but if it is the same ask him if all he bulbs in that part works and maybe you can use the one he has to get the bulbs you need and maybe he knows an easier way of removeing and installing them. I think he is selling that part for 10 or 11 dollars. Hope anything I wrote helps at all.

I sold SG 150 (not 300) to a client of mine, and stupidly, sold it without remembering to check the lights in the pie....  He says 6 of the pie shapes are dark... (of the 7)... I WOULD TOTALLY RATHER BUY A PART THAT ALREADY HAS THE LIGHTS ALL WORKING IN THERE, for around 15-20 bucks in place of having to buy 6 (x2)=12 lights at 2 bucks each appx....  I saw on Rudy's he was selling something that said TREASURE WHEEL with LED... But I cant find it anymore on there... He has the plastic part I believe now, but I dont need that. (but without any lights)....  I do have 7 other machines to take parts from, but sooner or later I will need lights I am sure... So, I think the best thing to do, is get a new wheel with all the lights 100% good if anyone has em.. If not, I will probably go with the T-1-1/4in wedge base (what the manual says I need) asap...

So does anyone have a new wheel or used with new lights in it they want to sell?????

Well, I called him... and they won't sell parts... ONLY WANTED TO SELL ME A TREASURE WHEEL SG 150B machine for 695.00....  I kindly, the best I could, said, "thank you", and I apologize for asking.... (It seemed weird he didn't want to help offer any help on where I might want to go look, or whom I might want to call... Once he knew I wasnt interested in buying a machine, I FELT, he wanted this call to end... Maybe I am over reacting... I appreciate the offer in trying to steer me to one of the OBVIOUS FEW places that might be able to help for a good deal, but this one folks, was a dead end...  (I hope this didn't come off too harsh, the person I talked to, just seemed like he didn't have time for me....)...  Oh, well... Any other possibilities???

I wish they would of helped you but some people are just that way. There is probably someone at that company  that will be helpful so I will ask someone who knows them and I will ask him to try buying some of the SG150 TREASURE WHEEL Sigma parts. Maybe he will get lucky and speak to the right person. I found the lead on Google and I am sorry if it caused you any grief. Well I may Just inquire about getting some parts from them. The worst they can say is no so I will make up a list of parts I can use and call. I will let you know.
Just like one of the members say is don't give up as it may take a little time since you have more people keeping their eyes open now and they made plenty of those machines. I am looking for some parts myself and need to wait for the right person to see what I need PM me and then I will buy it. I won't let it stop the wheels from turning. :cool_thumb_up:

I so agree!!!  And, I did feel the way I described, and who knows the circumstances of what he was doing right then, AND I AM NOT ONE TO REALLY COMPLAIN too often... I read what I posted, and it did seem a bit harsh....  But, I was surprised, NO offer from the other end of the phone saying, "hey try this, or maybe go here"....  Something I WOULD DO PERSONALLY when speaking to someone I am UNABLE to help... I love referring people (especially if they end up buying to the place I referred), because I know this street goes two ways, and I am a HUGE believer in Karma....  And, I havent given up, and in fact, the site I was referred to on the link about your post here I am quoting, was a great site... Not sure how the customer service is... YET... But, I havent ordered the lights yet... Looking for a good to great deal, so down the line, I can fix the last 6-8 machines I have left of treasure wheel (n tunnel acutally)....  But again, I agree with you 100%!!!!!  And this SITE RULES... SO INFORMATIVE, AND PEOPLE GIVE A SHIT.. AND HAVE THE PASSION TO WANT TO HELP... JUST BECAUSE THEY LOVE THIS HOBBY!!!!!  Thank you sir, and thank you NLG!!!!!

Looks like you will find what you are looking for on that companys website. I looked at it very good link and large selection. Maybe next time I will give a better lead. Does anyone know LA SLOTS on the West Coast, California. and why they treated a prospective customer so poorly.

I FINALLY FOUND SOME!!!! THEY ARE THE EXACT ONES, AND COME AND GREEN AND CLEAR... NEO WEDGE, 14 V instead of 12 V LIKE THE OLD SIGMA ONES, but thats fine, because they are .08 amp and that size is the same and the important part....

AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY 2.17 Each (+ a minimum of 3.49 for shipping on up).  In fact, I am selling some of the 500 I bought for much less.  Here is what I am asking for: 1.50 for 1-99 lights (may be mixed of green and clear), 100 for $125.00 or 200 for $200.00... Will POST SOME PICS WHEN I GET A CHANCE...But these are lights that fit nice and snug (unlike Sigma's own) and have great contact and can come in green or clear white... And boy do they light up that wheel!!!!  Will have pics of that too... So dont waste money at 2.71 ea.....  Ill save ya over 50% when you get 50% or more and will charge shipping whatever I am billed for the shipping....

Does anyone have a working neon tube for a tunnel wheel?  Mine does not use bulbs, but has 4 circular neon tubes (1 for each section of the tunnel).  They are really bright.  3 are working, 1 has broken glass on the tube.  Saw one on ebay, but the guy didnt know if it worked, so Im gonna pass on it.

Check with Alan at K-Lar in Las Vegas. I think he picked up some top tunnel piece a few months back. You can find his business link on the home page at the top of the page. There is a company call Bulb Town. I think I have that web sight. I bought a bunch of different bulbs from them. They may have the florescent ring bulb your looking for.
