I picked up a machine on craigslist. It did not have a bill validator. It has a connector inside that it looks like it plugs into. Does anyone know what type of Bill acceptor I need?
-
Hard to tell from the picture, but based on the reel tab I can see, you have an S+ platform machine so the BV is likely to be a DBV200. Could be a DBV145 also, the presense, or lack thereof, of a power supply on the validator housing would decide it. The DBV200 needed the added power supply to run

I have both of the bill acceptors you mentioned 200 and 145 in other machines but it won't plu into the jack on my machine. Am I missing something? I can send other pics if needed. Thanks for your quick response to my post.

Please pst in the S+ reel game s section with pics of your Bill Validator. We will get you set up.

I'm betting on a WBA. The 200 and 145 don't have plug connectors on the back. They are on the front side.

that plug is for a WBA 12/13 transport. you need that unit, (IF THE MACHINE IS AN S+) with software for a S+ IDO 022/IDO023, a power supply (mounted on the side of that assembly), and a cash can. you also need a duckbill for the model machine. and you probably would need a set chip to enable it.
Hope this helps

Open the door under the shelf you pictured. Then back up a little for the next picture so we can see inside the door and the side of your BV tray

Looks like a WBA10/11 plug? It doesn't seem to have the rows of pins present on the WBA12/13 connector.

I took some pictures of the DBV I have and a picture of the one I am missing. the one I need has some type of connection in the back of the box area.
2 pic of the 145 front and back
2 pic of the 200 front and back
1 pic of the machine I am having issues with Model B5033CFIW

I am standing by what I said in reply #5!!! I enlarged the picture and I counted 20 pins. you have a S+ machine and you need all the items I listed.

:I_agree_1: Every part Jim said is needed. I was hung on the power supply until I saw the plug swinging in the back. Good call from a trusted vendor.
