I have a WBA 12 in my Elvis machine and can get a WBA 22 at good money.
As my 12 does not take all notes, can i do a direct swap for a 22?
Thanks

WBA22 is for international currency, it will not take US bills. Just get your validator flashed to new $100, it will take all new bills then.

Actually the 22 transport can be flashed with USA software but the 22 head is different & will not work with the USA flash. With that being said your profile says you are in Ireland so I am not sure what currency you are using.

I am in UK so the currency will work ok for me.
I should have said my existing unit is an EBA , not WBA 12 unit.
I just wonder if the unit is a direct replacement or will it not physically fit or is the wiring harness different.
Thanks guys for the advice so far.

I can't even find an EBA12 listed, can you post a picture of it? My guess is that it is not a direct replacement anway.

Definitely not a direct replacement. What type of machine is your elvis machine? Can you post a picture? If it is an igt igame or s2000, you can replace the entire validator cage and harness to use a wba22.

It is a UK machine made by Barcrest in an Enhanced Rio cabinet.
I will try and get someone to update my firmware as mine is not taking Northern Ireland notes.
Thanks for your help
