Title: Reel tilt on S2000
Post by: Wadsworth on March 20, 2015, 01:41:57 PM
I am new to this forum and have little experience with slots.  Today I resurrected a Triple Stars S-2000 5 reel 9 line machine by replacing the dead 3v coin battery and using a 45 key chip.  It was running fine (for about an hour) until the reels locked into a slow continuous (and somewhat noisy) spin.  It showed a reel tilt and open stacker door.  I think it happened when the unlatched stacker door opened inside the cabinet while the reels were spinning?  I put a latch on the stacker door and made sure the cash can was well seated.  This didn't fix it.  I tried another key chip procedure, but can't get past the slow spin.  Any ideas?

That's a general tilt. Turn it on open the door as the reels are turning slowly and turn the reset key one time. Then close the door and it should reset.

If you don't want to mess with a latch on the stacker door. You can take the two wires off the optics on the inside of the cash  door and twist the stripped ends together. That will bypass the optics on the bill stacker. Tape or wire nut them.
