Title: Just Installed a DBV-200 Bill Acceptor / NOT WORKING
Post by: mikejmcfall on May 06, 2015, 09:08:04 AM
Machine was accepting quarters with no problems prior to bill acceptor install. Did the set chip, set machine to 9 1. and 25 cents. I put the game prom chip back in. Machine seems to fire up ok but quarters fall straight thru and the bill acceptor sounds like the wheels are turning slowly constantly. All wires are hooked up except 4 wires (red, brown, yellow and orange) that the previous owner must have clipped the end connector off. (see photo). If this needs to be hooked up where can I acquire the needed clip. Also the lights for the bill acceptor are connected but not on (maybe something to do with the previous mentioned wires?) Also, I dont know if a wire needs to be hooked up to the door that covers the "bill box" I don't seem to find one. I know its alot of info but I have had great success repairing my machine in the past with the help of newlifegames members.

Those 4 wires are suppose to connect to that black connector there beside the bill head.

I have that harness complete. I can either take the harness out of the inner frame completely. Or I can leave it in the inner frame. Either way your are going to have to remove the inner frame. It will cost more to ship the inner frame but a few dollars more might be worth it.

$8.00 either way .. removing the harness the shipping would be $5.25.
