Title: Power-up error
Post by: Don Indallas on May 31, 2015, 11:41:59 AM
I have a MK6 Whales of Cash that I recently got.  It had lots of problems, but now I'm down to one!  When I power it up, it tells me that the Logic Door is open.  I have to open the main door, open and reclose the logic door.  The error then goes away...... until I power it down and power it back up again.  The latch on the logic door is secure, and I don't see any physical reason for this error to occur.  Any ideas?

Thanks for responding!  After the power-up error, I open and close the  logic door, and the error goes away.  If there is no errors,  and I open the logic door, the alarm sounds and the error appears on the screen.  If I close the door, ehe error is cleared.  The microswitch seems to be in place and working, so I can't see a physical reason for the power up failure.

I turn the audit key, and select current lockup from thr menu. This shows logic door open with three asterisk s as the issue.  I open the main door, then open ans reclose the logic door, and the error clears.  It will remain clear until I power down and power up the machine again.

they might have added some wires to doors some place and you still have  1 or 2 wire you need to  move on door switch look for extra wires that are held on with wire ties

I'll look for any wires that are out of place or are extra!

If you power up the game and the Logic Door is seen as open, you then open and close the Logic Door and the Door is seen as closed until you power cycle, change the Battery on the I/O Board its dead

Glad Harp and I was able to help.
I know that problem drove me nuts for a while when I had it.
