I used to fly a lot (2-3 trips a month) .... I still fly a lot depending on who you talk to....

I never checked a bag. If I couldn't carry it, I didn't need it.

On the smaller flights - where there was no possibility of putting anything larger than a sandwich in the overhead bin they have "sky check" this is a baggage trolly sitting outside the plane, you put your bag on it, they wheel it into the plane and post flight its in the same spot waiting for you.

I would love this on the larger flights.
a. I know my bag is on the plane.
b. Its there when I get off, not on some obscure carasol at the opposite end of the airport
c. Less chance for a baggage handler to go mystery shopping.
