Has this game ever worked for you? Looks like old RFA files most current is 1.00.25 and yours are 1.00.21 I had this problem on a new kit install and the Monitor data card would not work with 248's, it had to have older game chips.

Picked it up parts complete minus the eproms. Updating RFA to 25 would fix it, or could go with an older chip set. I have no idea what chips would work with version 21 though.

SG248 requires ATA10065 according to the PSR.  You may want to try SG380 instead which also requires ATA10065.  I didn't see that game being supported on the PSR for 248.

The problem is that ATA10028 is so old trying to find a set of SG chip set that works with it will be a problem.  You are better off updating the ATA files on the card.

Yes if you can upload your card to your computer then delete the card, then put rfa25 and ata10065 then your bgm files it may work. I had one that the monitor had to be updated to 25 also. Putting a jumper on the monitor to watch what it loads is great.

RFA 25 is a firmware upgrade.  You need the firmware upgrade software to upgrade it.  It's not part of the standard game card, the ATA is though.
