Title: jurisdiction chip
Post by: brianfink on June 25, 2015, 10:43:34 AM
Do the alpha's need to be a certain jurisdiction to work with printer like a Williams blue bird ? The one I have is Iowa Riverboat and does not seem to have standard validation as an option. Can the jurisdiction chip be changed. I see a chip on the board that looks like the jurisdiction chip in a blue bird but the label is gone.

Yes, they need to be Cali Jurisdiction I believe (I'm sure there are others that allow printer). It's the tiny chip you see there.
