I have 2 Kristel LCDs that I am almost certain are good. They came out of BBs, and I'm trying to test in a Cinevision. Plug in power and VGA, but upon powering, the Red/Green/Blue bars (3-4") display on the screen for a split second, and then all is black.
Same behavior on both monitors?
Is this a compatibility issue or what else comes to mind? You guys know I'm "monitor challenged, to put it nicely.

Roz, You are correct it is a compatibilty issue using the wms on bally alpha 1 as the firmware is diff. It is a good sign you get the colored bars but you cannot fully test-odds are good but I have worked on many monitors in the past couple years and found video/pixel probs from the panel itself and the video boards etc. Try and find a buddy near you to test these on. Sorry-Not a lot of help. -B.

Was told they were fine when I got them and the source was very reputable, just thought I would power them up for a pic. Good to know.
