Post by: drfreeze1739 on September 15, 2015, 03:39:45 PM
Looking for a manual for the bally classic.

i have 3 diffrent boards for it/ None of them seem to work..

with one board the reels spin and stop. but the reel motor keeps spinning and wont stop.. and when i turn reset it  stops..

thats about all it does...

i never messed with one of these machines before..

i have done all the older bally and newer bally  but not one of these..

That controller board is not Bally, it's Jennings 400 series. Your machine must be a hybrid.

Confused as to why the Bally name is on it...

The fact that the reels stop tells me the logic is functional. The reel spin motor is typical of a Jennings machine. And, there is a delay relay that shuts the motor off, so that might be your problem with the reel motor. Look for the relay, or small PC board with TRIACs on it. I have managed to get a few Jennings machines up and running, the biggest problem being the acid leaching damage from the NICAD battery that was soldered on the boards.

I have 24 Jennings 400 machines on pallets, just waiting for the right time to go thru them....soon I keep saying.

i got this classic some what to work..

the reels spin and stop now..

when you win some times it will pay out sometimes it wont..

It needs a few lights and some locks and keys..

cleaned it all up. repainted the black on it..

its a 25 cent machine with a 5 cent hopper disk in it..

so when it dose win it wont pay out..

going to see if i have a 25 cent disk arround that will work..

i know i have jenn 400 hoppers not sure if the disk will work in a bally hopper..
