Happy Veteran's Day to all that served.
This is my dad. He was on a hospital ship called the USS Solace.  :waving_flag:

Was he in the Navy during World War II? That ship was at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attacked.

Yes he was, but he enlisted about a year later I believe. Still all he saw was the human "outcome" of the war and he rarely talked about it unless we specifically asked.
