Title: Bill Acceptor Light
Post by: Don Indallas on November 16, 2015, 02:30:31 PM
I just got a Choy Sun Doa machine, and there are a couple of things that are not the way they should be.  The first one is with the bill receptor.  There are Green lights that start wide at the bottom and get progressively narrow as they reach the machine, and they would normally sequence toward the machine.  These are on steady, and the red light, that usually indicates a bill has just been inserted, is also on constantly.  The machine accepts bills just fine this way, but it does bother me that this is not normal.

The second one is the large switch that that says SPIN is not lit and does not work.  I haven't looked to see if anything is loose or missing, but I would appreciate it if someone can let me know if this switch is a common failure.

The third item is the printer.  It does not work, and I don't have a clue what to even check on it.  I'm afraid to press the cash out button, not knowing what will happen.

Sorry about so many questions at the same time, I guess I don't have a lot of patience :EmoticonHelp4:

The spin switch issue has been resolved.

On the issue with the bill acceptor, I have some new information.  When the machine is powered up, the bottom Green runway lights are on, and no other lights.  When the game is played one spin, the first and second runway lights are on.  The next spin lights up the third set of lights.  The fourth spin lights up the last pair, now all lights are on.  One more spin lights up the res busy light along with the runway lights.  They remain this way until the machine is powered up again.
