Title: Artesyn Power Supplies for replacing WMS 40xx Dotmation supplies

I'm beginning to research replacement power supplies for the upper and lower PS boxes in WMS dotmation slots.  I personally, really prefer to install a newer (reliable), compatible power supply versus hacking in an ATX power supply.  I read in one thread here that the manufacturer Artesyn sells a quality power board that is apparently a drop in replacement.


Does anyone have more information on the particular model numbers that can be used for the upper and the lower?


Are there any other manufacturer / models that would be a good, reliable replacement that others are using?


A quick search on EBAY for Artesyn Power Supplies yields A LOT of different supplies.

Was there ever an answer regarding this drop in power supply replacement?

Did some digging on this, the drop-in lower replacements are Artesyn NFS110-7601 and 7602.

Perfect fit and pinouts, the extra voltages (-5 on 7601 and +24 on 7602) are each on unused pin 13.

They are still out there, and if working, prevent the need for any hacks or rewiring. If they are as reliable as Dale suggested, another option for the failed 40x power supply.
