Game chip question

I recently replaced the game chip from an sp872 to the sp731 on advice. Was this the right move or should I put the 872 back in.

That's a 3CM Crystal Fives reel chip @ 91%.

More importantly, it is a Type 0 game...the older SP731 GAME PROM will work.

Usually newer is better but it shouldn't really make any difference in this case.  SP1271 is best choice, you can set hopper limit low and credit limit high.
