You can change games easily in the old S slot.  There is someone on Ebay that sells the RS game chips, and has a pretty complete list of titles.  Then you can use any S-Plus glass kit, as long as you can get the particular RS chip.   I have some old S games, they run well, at least for me, and are easy to change out games.

Aw come on. "S" slots are not that hard to fix.

When you get it call Larry and he can walk you through some of the questions you may have.

Picked up the machine this morning, and it is in great shape...

http://web.mail.comcast.net/service/home/~/?auth=co&loc=en_US&id=229063&part=2

As expected, it had a 61 error code when I plugged it in.  Hit the self test button and, as expected again, I got a 12 error code.  I had ordered a new battery on Thursday, after we agreed upon the price, but it won't be here until Tuesday/Wednesday.

As Tom Petty wrote, "the waiting is the hardest part".  Stay tuned...

Also, it didn't come with a jackpot reset key. Are these universal that can be bought on ebay, etc.?

All Electronics sells those 1/2 AA Lithium batteries with wire leads for $3.50 each.

The IGT reset key remains the same.

Is there a 12-step program...?
There is a 3 step program...

1.  DO NOT EVER, turn off the lights in the slot room, they multiply in the dark.
2.  Don't ever say, I'll just get one glass kit, so I can change them around, you'll end up with more than you can imagine.
3.  Admit that you are addicted so you don't fool yourself into buying another one, once you own up to your addiction, I am not responsible for what comes next... well at least you will go into the purchase knowing that YOU ARE addicted.

Here are just a few excuses to buy another machine.

1.  If I have two of the same, I can swap parts whenever one goes bad to see what needs to be fixed.
2.  Hmm, I really like the sounds the new machines make, can I make mine do that?  NO? Then there's only one way to fix that.
3.  Gee, I don't have a poker machine, that gameking has MANY games, I only need to buy that.
4.  Those video slots are cool, my game king slots don't look like that, just look at the variety...
5.  You mean there's a newer version of that game that I really like... Oh wait, it doesn't work on my current platform....
6.  That machine I played in the casino is really cool, but I bet it costs more than a car...  Wait, it ONLY costs how much?
7.  If I buy this platform, I can have access to a lot more games...
8.  I really like the looks of those new transmissive LCD reel games...
9.  Somebody offered me a slot at a really good price, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity that I just can't pass up.
10. ...

I need to keep away from the "rabbit hole".

Repeat after me, I only need 1 slot machine, I only need 1 slot machine, I only need 1 slot machine...

I only have room for 1 pinball machine, 1 MAME cabinet, and 1 slot machine as far as electronics go.  Plus the pool/ping pong table, pop-a-shot, dart board, etc...

There is a guy in Vegas selling his new $450 Foosball table for $100. Surely you have room for a Foosball table.

BTW, I contacted IGT, and they tracked my machine as sold to AC Coin & Slot in March 1989.  They were the exclusive distributer of IGT slots.  Unfortunatelt, AC Coin & Slot closed their doors last year so my search has ended.  Looks like my slot was most likely used somewhere in Atlantic City...
