Remove I/O cards, I've had that happen once to me.
SO - it seems that rickhunter was onto something early on.  When you recommended removing the I/O devices, I did that, but I did not disconnect the power to their harnesses.  Not sure how it ended up working out, however, I removed the I/O card on the door and removed the molex into the receiver for that card - and that was the problem.  I plugged the molex back in and put a card from another machine on it and it fired right up.  Now I need to replace the pictured card - anyone know what it is that I'm looking for?

Thanks very much to everyone for the help!  Excited to have this thing working!!!

If you have a 5 button machine, get a 7801 IO card and if you have a 10 button get a 7802 card from a site vendor

Great - thanks.  It's a 5 button machine.  If anyone has one for sale please e-mail me on jasonmichael2003@yahoo.com.  Again - thanks everyone for all of the help!

Took apart the I/O board and you can clearly see that diode (?) C9 had burned.  Amazing that something this small could make such a huge difference.  Photos attached.

You can also use the 7802 card with a 5 button machine.  I've converted mine back and forth and I've always used the 7802 cards.  You shouldn't have any issue sourcing one as they are easy to find at this time.  Maybe 5 years down the line, not so much, so stock up on parts while they are relatively inexpensive and easy to get.
