I'm still having problems here. Any help is appreciated.

I replaced all of the buttons with the Spin buttons... and now I went back to using the original buttons the machine came with. I cleaned the original buttons and got rid of their gunk before reinstalling them. The plunger is clearly making contact every time with the microswitch, so that's not a problem.

The machine is not recognizing every time that I press the buttons. It happens too frequently where the buttons are not registering and it ruins the fun. All of the buttons are horrible and really hit or miss. Again, the Spin buttons did the same thing, and I installed those in hopes they would fix the problem.

It takes tons of presses of the Service button to get it to add free play, so annoying. It takes tons of pressing to Bet One credit, then tons more to press it again. Not as horrible with the Spin Reels or Bet Max buttons, but they're having issues too.

I really need some advice on what to do next because it's too frequent and very irritating. My other S2000's buttons are sensitive and work wonderfully. Never once ever had a problem with any of the buttons. They behave perfectly.

What could be causing the buttons to not be recognized every press by the machine, even though the buttons are clearly making contact with the microswitches?

Hello:  Welcome to NLG. The NLG File System is available to contributing members, which I see you are, but I believe you need to have 3 or more posts. Maybe you can reply to this, then make another post with a picture of your machine or something. In the meantime I can verify with Admin that it takes 3 posts.

The 3-post thing only applies to sending personal messages. Contributing Members have access to the downloads section even if they've never posted.  :Professor:

Bally Alpha Reel Games / Newbie w/Alpha ? and clear card need

Hi All, Not sure of which Alpha I have and need clear card after replacing 3 batteries. Came aboard as an old ATM tech, so replacing batteries not a problem even if soldered to board. But, right now feel like a pretty big dummy! Not sure which Bally Alpha I have and after getting notice on screen when powering up, a ram error after installing 3 new batteries. Hope the picture attachments and someone kind enough may help me.
Which version Alpha i have and version of clear card needed? Thanks much!

My Triple diamonds bill transporter at power up use to cycle and has stopped, only clicks now, and ideas?

Just some thoughts... I remember my S+ bill mech making a bad noise when initializing once when the cash can wasn't fully seated.  It that's not it, I'd pull the transport and inspect for a jam, binding or possibly a missing gear tooth?

Most likely needs the battery replaced. Badbaud at K-Lar has some info on replacing the battery in some older post. Pretty straightforward with a little soldering and you need to cut one of the traces on the board. I got one running recently but I believe the chips on the board are wrong for the machine. Payouts don’t match the glass.
