The reel strips in my machine are in really poor shape, missing a few of the logos and just really worn from age. I was wondering if there's anywhere I can find or even have some made to match mine? I'll post a pic of the payout glass with the proper logos, any help or ideas are appreciated

All reel strips (well, 99% of them) have some kind of identifier on them, either numeric or alpha numeric. If you can get the reel strip identifiers off of your strips it will help insure you get the correct strips. The number will be at the very bottom edge of the strip (you won't have to remove them, just peel back where the 2 ends meet at peek at the numbers).

The strips may be tough to find since they are Harrahs Trump Plaza. I have some Harrahs strips, but no Harrahs Trump Plaza. Lets hope someone here can help!

Good info.. If I can't find any trump plaza ones would you be willing to sell any of your harrahs ones?

Well sure I would, but they probably won't work for your machine. Reel strips are very game specific. They are not just generic pictures. They are aligned in accordance with the payouts for specific machines and paytables.

You will need to find the exact strips for your machine, otherwise, the symbols will not match the pays (I.e. 3 bars showing on the payline will not pay, while 3 mismatched symbols will pay). The brains of your slot machine control when to payout, not the pictures on the reel strips. The brain could care less what pictures are showing on the reel strips, however, the player depends on the reel strips to know when a winning combo has been hit. That's why the reel strips need to be correct for your paytable and properly installed.

most likely never match numbers but i'll bet if he sends you a pic of those strip you have them with either harrahs are just bars that match , we had some of those back in 90,s and replace with buy a pay strips that matched with bars in place of harrahs

Yep, that makes sense. I could see Harrahs customizing strips for the same model machines, just different casino locations. I do believe all of mine just have Harrahs (no location).

If you can align the reel strips so that all of the seams are aligned, then take a pic for me (show me the first 3-4 symbols a on each reel strip). Then I, and anyone else who may have some of these strips, can use that as a reference to see if we cphave a set that will work for you.

Ok, I see the strips you were using now don't even have the Trump Plaza logo on the bars. Does this machine operate and pay correctly with these strips?

That's why I'm looking for them lol, and yeah it pays out correctly. I'm not sure why the picture is sideways, I'm on my phone and it doesn't let me rotate them once I uplad a pic. But yeah they match the payouts perfectly

even strips with just bar on them would be fine with me... I suppose if I couldnt find them I could have them made out of vinyl or even glossy photo paper

It's a bally case with summit guts, the serial tag was removed long before i got ahold of the machine

Yeah that's what I hear. But I managed to make the machine 100% working and playable by myself so I figure since everything else works fine Id like to maybe find some nice reel strips some day, although it isn't a big deal
