I really appreciate all your help but I wasn't asking for specific heads I need I was asking a general question about the different bill heads even the other brands of Bill heads or complete acceptors but the one on most of my games are MEI. Most of the one I see on other than the big slot parts guys, they very seldom say  that it's a SC6607 out of a Williams, it is only SC6607 and no other info. Is there a way to ask for a number or anything to say that it's a head For a mec. for a Williams or Bally? Anything other than buy and try method.
Hope the shows better what I'm asking.

When they are flash programmed the communication protocol for wms, igt, ect is in the software flashed into them so any sc66 will work in any machine provided it’s programmed for the game it’s going into wms, Bally igt aristocrat Konami

To answer you question, there is no marking on the head to say this is a IGT head or a Bally head.
You have to ask the seller if he knows or have them flash it for your machine.

A lot of times there will be a small sticker on the head somewhere with the flash information printed on it.


I know my SC66 in one of my IGT S2000's actually says ID024 with the current software numbers following.


Same thing for WBA and UBA Transports.


That should help you locate the correct transport for your machine. But you must know the ID0 number, as they are different for every manufacturer.

Hey this is Larry I got the MEI heads on Friday but didn't Open them until tonight. 1 IGT and 1 Williams got 1 IGT and 1 Bally if this was my mistake Show me where I stated I ordered the Bally and I will order the Williams Extra but if not What can we do?

Bally and WMS uses the same communication protocol 003 either would have the same software. You'll be fine
