IGT S+ Bonus Sizzling 7s Info
« on: April 20, 2021, 10:44:58 PM »
This is a re-post of a thread from 2009 from the old site (here).

Since this IGT S+ game isn't well documented anywhere, I figured I'd start a thread to try and put all the known info into one central place. Bonus Sizzling 7s is an S+ (and S2000) game that has a light bar behind the award glass which is triggered with a spin of three red 7s. In the bonus, the lights flash behind different award amounts printed on the award glass until they settle on one of the amounts chosen at random, which is then paid to the player.

Bonus Sizzling  7's Available Programs:

SS011960 99.003% (3 Coin BAP)
SS7088 97% ($1 denom, per the PAR sheet) (3 Coin BAP)
SS7091 95% (3 Coin BAP)
SS7090 92% (3 Coin BAP)
SS8469 90.011% ($1 denom, per the PAR sheet) (3 Coin BAP)

SS012282 97% (2 Coin BAP, appears to use "ABB" reel strips)

It's a Type 25 game, and uses SP778/SP0778, SP944/SP0944, SP949/SP0949, or SP1289 (all believed to be 10mhz, ID023, SET058 or SET076)

From an unavailable old thread, April (lemans1969) mentioned that there was another game (possibly a clone), "Grand Gushers," that also used the light bar.

S2000 Bonus Sizzling 7's info:

Here's a thread from January/February 2010 talking about installing the game in a S2000:
http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=6356.0

SB100021 is confirmed to work with it.  SB100024 is believed to work with it.

The game can use DSV00042 or DSV00015, and has been confirmed to work with running GME SG000363 & Version VSO11GX1.

I have 2 of them.  Here are some pics.  I'm trying to get my credit limit back to 9999 in another post.

Also, I just added pics of the CPU (Eproms) in the other thread.

Yes, there was a game called Grand Gushers.  I have played them many times at the Grand Casino Coushatta in Kinder, La.  There was a pod of them and each one had a stand alone progressive jackpot.  The top prize on this particular bank of machines was usually a little over $500.00 as the top prize for the .50 game was $500.00.  So, the jackpot seldom got over $550.00 before it was hit.  Also, the reel strips had regular Red Sevens and Red Sevens with an Oil Derrek over it.  That was the top prize.  I played these games many of times.  I wish now I would have grabbed some pictures.  They removed them from the Coushatta a couple of years ago.
