Hey just got me a I-Game with GK and a 44 board and one of the older boards. Super excited to finally have one of these to play with. I have some questions I havent totally figured out yet...

1) is there a list of cool games I want to consider - like which are the best games? its sort of pain to switch them out with a key chip so wondering if there is a list of the "favorites"

2) using the key chip I can only get into key menu when I "clear all the ram" as well,  is there another way or am I missing something

3) anyone have a MEI bezel for this game, I am missing one.

4) do i care to upgrade the software on this thing? is there any major advantage? I have a 44CPU with a daughter memory board I havent booted yet and cant seem to find out what it is from the game list XLS documents on here my GK000 number isnt even on a list I can find?

Post the numbers of your software, someone will chime in.

1.  Personal preference, but hands down if you have an 044 system, Superstars Poker Flash board is the best one ever for that platform.
2.  You need to have no credits on the machine for the "key" only option to work.
3.  Post a WTB for that.
4.  What do you mean upgrade the software?  There is no upgrade, other than changing the games around.  each game is "self enclosed."

on the 44 game king enhanced board i have a chip that says GK002537 but cant find what that is

My personal favorite is Game King 6.2.  Good variety of single hand poker, keno, blackjack and slots.  I had Superstar Poker, but sold it.  Little did I know that my family was going to reprimand me for doing so.  I just bought it again and it showed up today...see photo!

If you're a fan of multi-hand poker, this is the best.  Also comes with a full version of Coyote Moon and Wolf Run.  A few other slots, Keno, and Blackjack too!

Bottom line...good idea to just buy both of them.  ;)

so it looks like I have a good Game King 6.2.  waiting on the backplane motherboard to boot it up and see if it works then go from there

just booted up the 44 cpu with the flash card and looks like the flash card is DOA :( says SHA failure cant 44 out of it.. there is no recovery for this is there?

you are so right, 6.2 is really good - i love fortune cookie slot
but poker multihand is really good on super star..

I got each and a spare 044 so i dont have to risk hurting the flash, just plug and play the games untill I can find another igame cab

If you are going to do that....stock up on the EEPROM on the backplane (24LC256).
When you yank the CPU out, take the EEPROM with it.
Insert new blank EEPROM with new CPU. When you want to go back to other game, place it's EEPROM on the backplane...Money and meters are still there.
