So I read a past thread about the fact that the back lit Phantom of the Opera reel strips exist. I have been told that there are a couple of companies that are producing reproduction strips and have made them back lit. Phantom of the Opera being one and Cigar being another. I would like to find out who these companies are if anybody knows. I would like to get a few sets of these or at least one of each and possibly others. Thought other people might like to get them too if they are actually out there.

I have an order that is on the way for a set of super spin sizzling 7s. One of the companies that manufactures IGT reel strips is Sunkist Graphics. They do not sell to the public but they now have an authorized dealer that can. I have hesitated to post the info until I get my strips to make that 1) I actually get the strips and 2) they are as nice as they should be.
Hang tight as I should get the strips this week.

I've been looking for a set of Super Mag 7 strips. I've contacted Sunkist Graphics, and about fell over with the shock of their cost.

Please post pictures of your new strips when you get them..

These weren't cheap by any means. The strips that came with the kit were horrible but I knew that when I bought it. I recreated the artwork and had them printed but the blackout side did not quite match up. I will post pics as soon as I can

I had a quote from Sunkist for $100 to do the art work, then another $99 to make a set of strips! I felt like I was being robbed.. If I wanted to order extra sets, 5 total then the strips dropped to $75 for the set. I had considered buying extra sets and trying to sell them, but I didn't know if I could get my money back out of them. I know that the strips from the Super Mag 7 kits are the non washable type. I can't be the only person needing new strips.

I have a complete Phantom Round top kit but it's for an S+ and the strips are not backlit.

The strips are cheaper if it a set that they have already manufactured for IGT
The artwork is already done

Yea I understand that, but why should I have to pay so much to have the art work done when they are going to reuse it later to make more strips? If you understand what I'm saying.

Paying $35 to $50 a strip from IGT, when they would sell them, wasn't unusual. There's people here that would gladly pay 2 bills for a brand new set of Super Spin Sizzlin' 7's strips I'm sure, espcially the bonus reel strip. I paid $105 for a brand new set of strips for my Money Mad Martians, to me it was worth it to finish making my game "brand new". As far as layout costs, it probably takes 2-3 hours to track down the right strips for whatever theme and max bet plus lay them out for printing. If you've got a rare theme and want it to look good, well, everyone has their price and limits. If you find 2 people to order with you you're already down to $110 ea. Not a bad price in my book

Phantom is very rarely seen with backlit strips. It was thought for a long time that backlit strips were never made but this has been disproven. The bars are all black so the benefit from having backlit would be minimal. The 7s are red & the Phantom symbols have some color but other than that they're ho hum. Last time I bought strips from IGT (had a connection), they were just shy of $50 per strip. They probably are higher now as this has been 3-4 yrs ago. Sunkist is not too out of line if you seriously want to have some made.

Than at $125 for the 4 strip set I guess that's ok. With shipping it was just north of $140

If you have glass and no strips, you have nothing. I have bought strips for that price , nature of the beast. Try and find a set of Triple Diamond Haywire strips, so yes, 150.00 is a bargain.

I have several sets of Super Spin Sizzling Seven strips and the bonus strip as well. far below that price, they are non washable but in great shape, backlit as well, the bonus strip is the same used for other clone games.

Ok so I will continue my search for back lit strips but as Jim said without strips I don't have a game.

So does anybody have a set of Phantom of the Opera back lit or not that they will sell me so I can have a complete game.

When I ordered them I was told 2-3 weeks. Took a month but it was worth it. They look really nice when they light up.
I'm not sure all the games they have strips for.
