SAVP Top Monitor Repair

If anyone has an SAVP with Monitor L2282SG9GT

if it goes dead one day with no LED or anything - replace C515 and C517 (100mfd x 16v) both read good on the "cap wizard" in circuit but didn't even move the needle once removed.


Replace them and the monitor will work again!

Sounds like a thread I seen on SlotTechForum years ago.  That fix works on some but not all.  Just got back into town from "Katy Texas"- :Tongue_Out: .  Do you still want the new one?  (monitor).

that's exactly where i got the info from!  My bench guy gave me a fight when i asked him to replace those caps.  He insisted they were good. 
I said please just change them for me.   The grin on my face when it worked - priceless



Yes i still want the new one.   I have way too many machines to be without a spare.

There You Have It. I was visiting relatives on my wife's side. Besides They don't have anything there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Just Mexican Parlor's etc.
