Program LEFT 2 buttons

The left 2 buttons my deck read REPEAT BET and BET ONE. On the right side 2 buttons say MAX BET - REPEAT BET. In the casino the left two buttons are reversed of the right 2 buttons. How do I change the configuration of the buttons? Am I missing it in the menu?

That's the way it is on my machine, I hadn't notice it was different in the casino.  I know the left 2 buttons are sometimes not even enabled in most games.

How do I find out what firmware version my button panel is at? I have a G23 with LEDs around the buttons. Also do DIP switches have anything to do with how the deck behaves?


At the casino PROWLING PANTHER shows both REPEAT BET and MAX BET in BOLD "Prowling Panther" style letters on both sides. Mine are just generic font and the other side has BET ONE

It sounds like a version deal to me. You can find it in the ekey menu somewhere just not sure exactly where but I have seen it.

I don't know much about these, but can you just switch the buttons? I assume they unscrew like an S2000 or any other IGT?

No,  They are dynamic buttons and change with game software.  As Tommy said just look in machine and find what version program you are running.  You should be able to e-key 7 and go to support/version etc. to see all that.  You will have to flash your board to what's needed.  This is done by using the IGT firmware csv-xxx   and the appropriate file to load onto the igt firmware program, linked directly to the machine etc.  This is the same for all on avp--reel driver boards, buttons, toppers, etc. etc.

Yes... If you want the software to control all the buttons with game specific labels, on the backplane there are dipswitches. Makes sure they are turned off.
