First Post; owner of beautiful new machine to show you guys
« on: August 19, 2014, 06:33:38 PM »
Hi Guys,

Well this is my first post. I have been a lurker for years but only hado one slot, a Sigma Treasure Wheel. Anyways, I just got this beauty this week. I'm not kidding when I say it is spotless not a scratch on her.

Unfortunately Blazing 7's doesn't have a bonus round and would like to change it out. With that said I have noticed there are several games that have the reels lit up all the time and when certain reels hit a red led lights up that specific reel or line. I believe examples are Swiss Riches and Golden Flash. Does anybody know what other games do this? More importantly where can I find the kits besides LA Slots? Anyways glad to be part of the community!!

Thanks,
Ryan

First, Welcome to NLG!  The more you participate and learn, the better for everyone here.  The Alpha Elite machines, like the one you have, are pretty awesome IMHO.  I have 3 of them, well 2, one I gave to mom for Mother's day since she liked it so much.

Second, I can't say I've ever seen those particular titles up for sale.  From time to time some members will post kits for sale, or you could just ask some of the sponsored vendors here, some have kits for sale all the time as they part machines out.

Hi Rick thanks for the welcome greeting. I picked it up for $450 so I couldn't pass it up. To me, other than transmissive reel games this is the best platform that seem to be available for home users. Though my dream slot is a Gold Fish 2. There was one on ebay a few weeks back forn $3,500. Yikes my pockets aren't that deep.lol

Thams again for the reply!

That's a steal!!! I wouldn't have passed that up either.  Welcome to the hobby, but never turn off the lights in the slot room, they have a tendency to multiply rather quickly.  :arrowthruhead:

Yep that's true.

As far as your initial question, every game is programmed differently. It's up the programmers to program the lighting effects. Even some of the older games have better lighting effects than others. Best thing to do is look on YouTube for the game you are interested in and see how the lighting interacts with the game. I am very picky on what title I throw on my S9e as I want to see the super candle fire off. So congrats on the awesome slot. I recently converted my machine to quick Hit and eventually a Bally transparent reel (damn game won't spin!).

They do add up. My first was a Bally M9000, then s9e, a cinevision and my last purchase a WMS bluebird. I seriously have no more room... Unless bb2 or alpha 2 comes along.... Hahaha

That's a great deal on a nice machine.  :cool_thumb_up: You will find some nice kits I'm sure if you hunt around and keep an eye out.
