Progressives for a G23 ?

Are there progressive games that work on a G23? I saw a guy on you tube setting a machine up for progressives. Thanks.

Yes, there are quite a few of them.  Some set themselves automatically, others have to be set manually.  There's progressive guides for the ones that don't set themselves.  You can't just make up a bunch of numbers and percentages or you'll end up with a Progressive Tilt error.

Do we know why they made it where you have to set the progressives numbers it wants or it tilts? Like why have us set it if it knows it's wrong? If it wants a set number, why not just do it itself? just always something I wondered about.

Some do, some don't.  I honestly don't know why that is, maybe jurisdictional requirements?  Gaming laws are different in each state and don't always make sense.

I always wondered this too. My thought was maybe IGT wanted it as a fail safe for casinos so they don't overset a progressive but wouldn't make sense why it's only select games.

Are the progressive games each specific to the setup values? Can I use any start number and a max limit? I have the game Triple Stars Multi-play I can't seem to get going. Thanks, KAD

If it is a forced progressive (meaning that it doesn't automatically set itself) then you have to set them up by the book or you'll get a progressive tilt error like I said in your original post (and where I'm moving this one to).

No worries, glad you got it going.  I've found there is some errors in the guide, so if you set up everything as it says and still get a progressive tilt error you'll know you found one that isn't correct.
