Logic door and nvram

Hello all

I've had this BB for a long time and it used to work great. I went to start it up a few days ago and I was getting a nvram error. I replaced both batteries with new ones however it's still saying Nvram battery 2 low (at least the machine is past the boot up screen). I have now configured the game but I'm getting logic door is open.  What door or button is for the logic door? Also any idea about the nvram message?

Logic door is the door switch for the cover over the computer. You had to remove this door to change the battery.

Make sure you have both batteries in the correct direction and maybe test the new batteries to make sure they are good.

Thank you very much. There was never a door over the computer but once you said that I knew where to look. I noticed there was a black piece of tape "holding/pulling" the switch. It must have been bumped or gave up over time. I used a rubberband around the switch and hook/latch to pull it closed. I kept playing with the Nvram battery and it must have been the metal clasp holding the battery in was to loose so I really bent it in and that did the trick.

The machine is now up and running again. Thanks so much for your help it is greatly appreciated!
