Hello all!

I am a newbie at this and just received my first BB2 machine and am trying to load the game chest game but it stops on the starting game screen. Not sure if I need to wait longer or if this is normal. It originally had invaders from the planet moola on it working fine. I was also working on getting my TITO card working but when I cash out it just cashes it out on the screen with a hand pay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you run a clear? You can search in youtube on how to setup a bluebird from scratch. The only difference with a gamechest is that you pick the paytable for each game that you want as an option. Loading the gamechest the first time will take a bit since it has to copy the cf image to the hard drive, once you get the blue screen that says pending denomination, you can push the diagnostic button and start setup.

I ran a clear before installing the game chest. It gets to the starting Linux screen. Is it normal for it to sit on this screen for 8 hour's or more? Thanks

8 hours is a way too long, after a clear and first install, the game will copy the game cf card into the hard drive which does take a bit since the game chests are 4gb images it takes a bit to copy the entire thing, but should not be more than 30 minutes or so. Post a photo of the screen where it gets stuck.

The screen is saying hard drive not ready. Then waiting for DMA. Over and over until the system re-starts back to the bios start up. Thanks

You probably either have a bad hard drive or bad S-ATA/Power cable. You can pretty much use any 2.5 inch hard drive or SSD to replace the one that is there. The sata/power cable is not a common pc part, so you will probably need to source it from a slot dealer or post a WTB here. I think I found some on e-bay a while back, but it's been years since I bought my replacements.
