I think that Admin notification you got pertains to posting in the classified ads forum, not anywhere else.  The donation is req'd if you want to do posts of stuff to buy & sell in the classifieds area. Nearly all of the other forums are public and free.

On ebay you can setup a notification where they will notify you by email each time a Twilight Zone topper comes up for sale. The TZ pinball machines themselves sometimes have an asking price of $9,000 or more depending on condition.
