Hey, there are a few things that could be the trouble;
Straight away I can see that is the first version MK6 board. Those boards don't like larger games with 6+ eproms. Some do work however, but you can still run larger games on that board (up to 6 eproms) if you use an eprom extender daughter board (not expensive). Later down the track you should try and buy a MK6 XP board, it's a newer model and will run upto 6 eproms without a daughter board. (or if you have 8 or more eproms you need both the daughter board and an XP board).
As those are original eproms, it's very rare that they would be at fault and if the seller said he tested them then I would believe him. (particularly because you have the early MK6 board and I know that wont work with 6 eproms).
That particular error has nothing to do with anything else system related. FYI, if you run an old system or one from another country etc it will have an entire different error, NEVER an AVL error. (so it's not that).
The only thing you can try is just tripple check all the pins are cleanish and not bent, and I mean totally bent.. it's normal to have a few wonky pins but as long as they are seated in the socket they will be fine. Also check the obvious, that the correct chips are in the correct sockets and the little groove faces the left.. (matches the mark on the socket etc) but I suppose you have done that!
In summary, ask the seller for an eprom extender board or an XP board, he would probably help you with that no doubt.
