Powering up a Bally Alpha 9000 Quick Hit

I'm looking to buy a Bally Alpha 9000 Quick Hit, and I here they have a series of 3 switches inside that have to be turned on one at a time. What and where are they? Is it possible to turn it off and on by using a power strip or a stand that has an off and on switch?

Yes, you can just leave all 3 switches in the On position and power on/off from a strip.  For the record, the three switches are Main, Cabinet, and the MPU switch.

I had heard that you had to turn the switches on in a certain order, as well as being turned off.. I did want to buy something that the wife wouldn't know how to power up, or damaging it by turning it on wrong..

Some things won't power up if the other ones are powered off.  For example, you can't turn on either the cabinet or the mpu power without the main power.  But if all 3 switches are on when you power on at a strip, they will power back up.

Be advised, I've had several machines that would not boot up correctly if the MPU was switched on before the main and cabinet power.
