S+ SS Chip

I picked up a S+ this weekend, the game on it is prizepig witch is a clone to a double diamond 2 coin single  pay line. It came with a ss6324
chip,every thing works fine. I had a ss6623 chip,when i installed the ss6623  none of the payout are correct. Both chips are marked with the ss# and when i use the test button it shows the same ss# as the chip.It has a  SP1271 installed also .

On the 6623 all the reel strips are the same
On the 6324 they are all different according to the book

That would ex plane it. In the game bible list under stops the ss6623 has AAA listed and the ss6324 has ABC. Does this refer to the strips

Yes, the term "AAA" means all strips are identical. "ABC" means all strips are different. Sometimes you'll see something like "AAB" meaning strips #1 and #2 are the same but #3 is different. Since the SS6324 was working ok did you install the SS6623 to change the win percentage?

I just thought that they were both 2 coin they would work. Learn something new every day. Thanks for the help.

As you see in the S+ game bible the ss6623 has a higher win percentage of 98%, the ss6324 is several points lower at 95%. I thought maybe you were wanting to bump it up for a little more fun playing at home. If so the ss6326 would be the chip to install for 97.5% win and the strips you have now would be right.

I had that chip, thought i would use it . Don't know how i got it.  When i need a chip  in the future i know what to look for.
