Depending on what   bill validator installed.   Just  guessing here....  older  MEI (black framed) BV  for that one... I do have  cash can. $25.  plus shipping.  If you can upload a pic of your  BV...   would help the  "guessing"   what type you  have. 

There is a website:   Robert Winter   Odyssey slot machines... (google that)   will help with questions about  Odysseys.

My Odysseys have the Mars ZT1101  bill validators and the cash can number is 251016003. Do you  need one or how many. Can check  if I have any spares. Looking at one out of my machines. A white nylon roller has two rings of brown goo from deteroiated   O-rings or something. Would think the o-rings would leave black deposits? Have to figure this out?  Everything's getting old I guess. Gene

On the road at the moment... will check the model numbers when I return.  I was very hopeful about getting some from LA Slots.  Called them and was told their system showed new and used in stock but they were unable to locate them.  The parts guy said they had probably either sold or gotten rid of them (DANG.. a day late and a dollar short).

LA Slots was selling them brand new about two years ago on EBAY.  You can get the Z1000, Z1100 cans working again by removing the "goo"  in the two slots and replacing them with two butyl O-rings.  The old rings were made of what looked like gum rubber.  The can comes apart pretty easy.  If the rubber rings are shot the bills will have two streaks running down them on them and the bill acceptor will jam giving you an error code.  I have repaired two cans with no further feed problems.

That's a great tip!  The main issue I have with the cash cans is that those little O rings are missing.  I thought there had to be something I could replace them with... the key word I was missing was "butyl"... thank you very much!

Thanks Gkfan, now I know what I need to do. That's crazy how they just go to goo. Can't even recognize that they were o'rings.
