MEI SC66xx Software Upgrade

For what machines do you need the update for? Also, do you have the programming software STS?

Its for the Aristocrat MK6 machine and
I have two heads that I need flashed.
I don't have any of the flashing hardware so
I would like to send out the heads to someone
that can flash them.

Unless some one can loan me the tool to flash
the heads myself.

If you have a computer, all you need is the program loaded on your computer and a USB line.
The STS program will allow you to program and test MEI heads with a PC or laptop.

Ok, but where do you get these programs?

Program is available from any MEI vendor or licensed repair site.

Ok, but the cost to buy the software just to update 2 heads is too expensive.
That why I was looking to pay some one to update them for me.

OK, Ive had several people tell me that all i need is to down load the STS program
but for the life of me it can't be found.
Mei says call for pricing, Suzo Harps says that the software is not available.
So unless some one can point me to a working down load or email me the STS program
I'm back to looking for some one to flash my two heads or a loan of the yellow programmer
that MEI offers.
I expect to pay round trip mail cost and a flashing fee but so far it looks like no one
is interested in helping.

I have the program and the newest firmware, but I do not have the setup for flashing them, i.e. MEI chassis, cash can, and 12V power supply.

I mean, I have it at work but they would not allow outside equipment to be flashed there.

The yellow wire harness should plug into the harness that goes back to the backplane board for the BV.

No, a member (tjlee) was asking which
wires where used and I posted the picture here.
With MEI heads there is only 2 types - IGT Netplex and  non IGT Netplex.

tjlee is going to flash my heads for me so this thread is done.
