Here’s the latest update on my power supply issue. I took the modified computer power supply and plugged it in to a separate different outlet than the machine. Now the machine has been running for 2 days straight, NO issues. So I took a current clamp and tested each 110 volt (6 pin plug) and found out with those, the power supply up top and the new computer power supply All ON, the total current being drawn was 3.78 amps. This didn’t take into account if the reels were spinning or if the hopper was paying out on a spin. This is why I kept blowing the 3 amp fuse on the power supply backplane. I ended up using the switched outlet (1 amp Max) to control a relay to turn on and off computer power supply when the existing power supply was turned on/off.
Hope this makes sense!!! A little more work but, KNAGI saved me a bunch of $$$ on this project. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP.
