It's a Bally Classic. Does it have all the parts that are missing?  From your photos I can see it's missing at least the lower belly glass, hopper bowl, pin wheel, shelf, agitator and most importantly the cast side panel that would cover the handle on the right side.  I don't think you would ever find one of those unless you find a parts game.

I currently own 3 of them. They were not a real popular item.  They were originally designed by Games of Nevada. Bally then purchased the manufacturing rights.

Probably a good idea. The seller doesn't have any of the missing parts.

What a wealth of instant knowledge from this Electromechanical group.  Model, year, reliability status, all immediately.

I was going to chime in and add that it was assembled by a gal named Sue on a Tuesday but your question was answered and I did not want to show off. :24:

Yes.  Pass on that one for sure.  I did not take one for FREE a few years ago after asking the same question of these wise men and women.

Happy hunting

Hi,
I currently have this type of machine at home but I can't get it to work, if I start it it spins endlessly and the rollers don't stop, do you have any idea of the problem with these fairly rare machines .
Thank you for your help

The problem may be with the Variator switch not opening. When the machine is coined up and handle pulled, the cam rotates energizing the reel motor for spin. Once spinning the duty of keeping the reel motors energized is trsnsfered to the Variator switch that upon opening then begins allowing each reel to stop. If you have "the manual" which doesn't have much, the operation sequence is described in the first couple of pages and is the best and only documentation to help troubleshoot it. As long as your machine is complete, you have a decent chance to get the machine working,

The variator unit is at the right front edge of the cabinet, next to the door switch. Send me an email and I'll send you what I have on the machine.

I was thinking about your issue of the reels spinning. Does it act the same regardless of how many coins are played? What about max coins played?

Hi,
I don't even have a problem with the number of pieces played, the reels spin or don't spin and when they spin, none of them stop unless I spin the STARPOINT 12 WAY PROGRAMMER slowly and in this case I manages to stop the rollers one by one

By placing a token, the game can start, the coin acceptor light is bright, the arm unlocks but the reels do not turn and the small red motor at the bottom right turns endlessly

Hi,
Are you talking about this switch below the red arrow? If it is this one it does not change anything in operation
