Help with Johnson Fare Box

I live in Southern California and bought a old Johnson Fare Box to restore.  The drawer on the front which is "Suppose" to pull out will not come out.  I was referred to some who lives close to me and they quit trying to help with when they got frustrated and could not get the drawer out after having it for 6 month.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, the glass top has been removed, so it's just the base.  Here is a picture of what will not open...

I'm just curious here now. I work with antique mechanical slots and payphones (not on this forum which is generally more "modern" stuff)
Can you past larger photos of the front, back and maybe bottom? I'd like to see how it comes apart.

If you go to :39 you will see the drawer that does not/will not pull out..

I don't really see anything different at the 31 second spot.
Past that time point,  I see an open lid. Is that it? If so, I'd spray some some PB Blaster and let it soak awhile... hours, a day perhaps.

I have sprayed it, there is something inside that is stopping the drawer from coming out.  I was told by K-Lar Slots in Las Vegas that this was the site to come to, they said there are people on here that know the inside workings of the Fare box. I can't see anything that could stop it from opening...  Thank you for the suggestion though....

Hmmmm... this is the first time I've ever seen a post for a fare box, but hope those that know will reply.
I'm curious myself now.
Is there any way to get at it from the inside? I've had numerous antique three slot pay phones and have (carefully) drilled out the screws at the back in order to access the coin box and then upwards to the top.

The only part of the top is where the two flaps open to drop the coins into the counter.  The base case is made of about 3/8 inch steel, this was made in the early 20's, they were made with steel back then.  Not with recycled beer cans like today... lol  The bottom case alone weighs about 45 pounds...  I also hope that someone out there knows about these and can help.  I have restored the glass top half, but need to get the lower drawer out to finish the redo...

 Not real familiar with them.  But isn't there a long cross pin that goes thru the count mechanism drawer from one side to the other.  That would need to be removed.  Then there is a metal plate that cover the side crank handle with a long screw in it.  Once that cover plate and screw are removed the count mechanism should slide out.
