Pro 6000 Blazing Double 7’s Error

Hello.  I am trying to help a guy long distance with his Pro 6000 Blazing Double 7’s he just purchased.  I more experienced in IGT and havent touched a newer series Bally so hoping to relay some help.  Here is what he said:

"I bought a 2006 Bally Pro 6000 series Blazing Double 7’s and seen it work before we loaded it up got it home plugged it in came on everything looked great but it wouldn’t except any dollars then I realized the service button was stuck down and the light on the top indicating it needs service is flashing I figure that’s why it wont except bills The guy I bought it from said he never pushed the service button so doesn’t know how to reset it I’ve been looking for almost an hour and the only little reset button I find has nothing to do with that any suggestions?"

[/size]I asked him what code is being displayed and he said 7246.  72 I believe has something to do with reel movement so I can only assume it has to do with moving the machine.  Does he just need to do a reset?  I believe that's just press and hold the reset button for a short period of time until the light is lit near the button then shut the door?  Any help, suggestions, and guidance appreciated!

Thanks badbaud.  Appreciate your reply.  So this is a clear only situation?  It's strange this would happen by hauling.  But who knows if that's what truly all that happened.  Lol. 


Am I correct in a reel error?  There is only one other post with a similar error I could find but they didn't have a conclusion.
