Game Maker Monitor Not Working
« on: January 19, 2019, 12:51:00 PM »
I've got a Game Maker V7200 with a monitor not working. Took it out and put it in another machine and it still doesn't work. Put a known working monitor it that machine and it works. When the machine is powered up I get all 4 green lights to come on - on the main board but I don't see any small lights on the monitor board or any other board. I check and made sure it was in all the way, checked the monitor inline fuse, all of the connections are connected and all looks to be good to this point. Is there a trouble shooting procedure I can follow or anything else I can check? To me it seems like I'm not getting voltage to the monitor or monitor board. Maybe I have a issue with what looks to be a black coil or power pack?
Thank you.

I have a GM series V7200 with a 19" monitor. I don't know what you have but if you have a V7200 - pull the monitor assembly out and have the CRT facing you. Look down to the right side you'll see a mounting screw, look to the left of the screw and you will see the 1" glass fuse. If you have the V7000 series just look on the circuit board on the bottom of the assembly.
