Bally -Adding a topper to Cinevision
« on: March 22, 2019, 08:16:16 AM »
Is it possible to add a lighted topper to a cinevision for the extra visual?

I don't see why not, the hole spacing that the candles use, is the same as the one the alpha 1 topper uses.  You could even put an alpha2 15" or 18" video topper, same spacing for the anchor screws.  Just get a media player of some sort (bally uses them on some Alpha 2 games) and have it run a looped video or still photo.  I have a "Hot New Game" animation running on my alpha 1 3 reel stepper game.

You have a pic? I attached  my two s9000 alpha 1. Not familiar with the alpha 2  but I like the looks of them.

This is my S9000 with the 18" video topper attached with  the "Hot New Game" animation file.

Nice, I like it. What kind of media player did you use?

I have the original bally media player used on some A2's.  They go up for sale from time to time, but you could just use any cheap media player that can auto-play a video on default.
